The Dopamine Lounge – Nightlife, Events & Ticket Booking Website

Overview

The Dopamine Lounge is a bar, kitchen and live-events venue in Toronto, Canada, blending Canadian nightlife with Desi flavour. They needed a website that felt like the venue itself: dark, loud and premium, and that could sell event tickets and take corporate booking enquiries without any manual work.

I designed the complete UI in Figma (with multiple homepage and hero variations for the client to choose from) and then built it in WordPress with Elementor and WooCommerce for ticketing.

Pages designed & built

• Home: full-width hero (“Canada’s Premier Bar and Kitchen – let’s get Doped*”), scrolling “Events* Trendy*” marquee, brand intro, Upcoming Events slider and a “Mark Your Calendar” section
• Events listing: All / Weekly / Monthly tabs with location filter, event cards showing poster, date, time, artists and Book Tickets
• Event detail: date & time header, dress code and age requirement, expandable Event Details and Artist Information, plus related upcoming events
• Ticket booking: ticket price, quantity selector with live total, “Only N tickets left” urgency, Add to Calendar and Book Tickets
• About Us: brand story (The Dope Bar & Kitchen), Our Vision, and a Gallery with Events / Dining / Music tabs
• Venue Booking: corporate & group bookings page with capacity stats (300+ full venue, 40+ private lounge, 250+ bar area), venue gallery and a detailed enquiry form (guests, date, venue type, budget, event type)
• Contact: enquiry form with venue photo, location and brand signature
• Footer: quick links, newsletter subscribe and social media on every page

Design highlights

• Dark theme with neon orange/red accents, grainy textures and glowing type to match the club atmosphere
• Custom display typography with the brand’s asterisk* motif used in headings and buttons
• Light gradient (purple-to-cream) calendar section for contrast against the dark pages
• Multiple hero and homepage layout options explored before final approval
• Fully responsive event cards and forms, designed mobile-first

Result

A single website that works as the venue’s brand showcase, event calendar and ticket counter. Guests can discover an event, book tickets and enquire about private bookings in a couple of taps, and the team manages everything from one dashboard.
