Youngbutterfly – Online Classes & Learning Platform

Project Overview

Youngbutterfly is an online learning and discovery platform designed to help users explore classes, educational courses, creative workshops, and learning opportunities across different categories.

The website brings together course information, class listings, workshops, and educator-related content in one place, helping users discover options based on their interests and learning needs.

My Role & Responsibilities

I worked on the end-to-end website project while associated with Beyondt, taking responsibility for the website's design, development, technical setup, and deployment.

My responsibilities included:

• Website Planning & UI/UX Design: Planned the website structure, page layouts, navigation, and content presentation.
• Website Development: Implemented the website and its page layouts using the technologies selected for the project.
• Course & Category Presentation: Organised the website content to help users explore educational categories, classes, and workshops.
• Responsive Design: Worked on layouts for browsing the platform across desktop and mobile screen sizes.
• Domain Configuration: Handled the domain-related configuration required to connect the website to its hosting environment.
• Hosting Setup: Managed the hosting configuration required to publish the website.
• Deployment & Launch: Handled the technical process of making the website accessible online.
• Content Structure: Organised course and class information to make browsing and discovery easier.

Project Approach

The project involved planning a website structure suitable for a platform containing different types of classes, courses, and workshops. I worked on implementing the layouts, organising the content, and setting up the website for its intended online experience.

I also handled the domain and hosting configuration and the deployment process, covering the technical steps required to bring the website online.

Project Outcome

The result was an online platform that brings different learning opportunities together and helps users browse classes, courses, and workshops in one place.

This project showcases my experience in developing a content-rich education platform and managing the website lifecycle from design and development through technical configuration and deployment.
